This will be the sad truth if we choose to do nothing about it! East Africa is currently hit with one of the worst DROUGHT's and FAMINE's in a decade. 10% of children under five are dying every 11 weeks. These figures are truly heart-wrenching. UNICEF are currently working hard to provide the much needed relief in the currently DROUGHT and FAMINE ridden East Africa. But they do n...ot have the much needed funds to feed all these kids.
We have decided to help by hosting a Sausage Sizzle on Sunday September 11th @Bicentennial Park.We figured it would be an excellent opportunity to get our many friends and family together to enjoy a great Spring day out and also to assist UNICEF in their efforts to saving these children's lives and ensuring they have a chance of survival! So please come along! Lets make a difference together and enjoy a great day out with friends and family! Note: All proceeds and donations on the day will go straight to UNICEF's East Africa Crisis Appeal!
We will be charging a minimum donation of $10 per person for the day. This will cover:
- Unlimited Sausage Sizzle
- Salads
- Soft Drinks
There will also be plenty of fun activities on the day for everyone to enjoy including:
- Tug-A-War
- Super Limbo
- Push Up Competition
- Mini Soccer game
- Raffle with awesome prizes
- etc.
So please come along! Lets make this Sausage Sizzle a success and a great day to remember and be proud off with our friends and family! :)
