Story

Since I had my beautiful baby girl April 2015, I have learnt the virtue of Patience.

Those of you know me, knows I have zero patience when it comes to growing and taking care of my hair. So I wanted to challenge myself for a cause. To support beautiful babies who suffer from Alopecia Areata by fund raising for AAAF (Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation Inc.  Wigs for kids program)

When my hair is 12” or longer I will cut it off and donate the locks. For the first time, for a cause, to support AAAF.

UPDATE: I have been waiting and measuring them for 6 long months now and on September 23 2016, I will cut my hair,

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
 
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
